BIRMINGHAM – UAB women's soccer (3-3-6, 0-1-3) travels to Tulsa (6-4-4, 1-2-2) on Thursday, Oct. 9. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. CT and will air live on ESPN+.
SERIES HISTORY
Tulsa leads the all-time series 7-3-2 with the last match taking place in Birmingham on Oct. 24, 2024. The Blazers earned a 1-0 win.
LAST TIME OUT FOR THE BLAZERS
UAB fell 3-1 at Charlotte last Thursday. Lauren Lucero scored a goal off a pass from Lailah Stewart to tie the match 1-1 heading into halftime. The 49ers scored in the 85th and 89th minute to earn the victory.
SCOUTING THE GOLDEN HURRICANES
The Golden Hurricanes fell to No. 9 Memphis last Thursday. Jordan Frederick leads the team with 10 goals this year, followed by Blaine Schutte with seven.
