BIRMINGHAM – UAB men's tennis fell to Troy on Friday afternoon at the Hoover Met Tennis Complex by a score of 4-2.

The Trojans were able to capture the doubles point and take the early lead over the Blazers, despite UAB winning on Court One.

Yeray Andres Pastor & Henrique de Brito (TROY) def. Georgios Nouchakis & Juan Pablo Valdez (UAB) 6-3
Luciano Alcocer & Hiiro Sakamoto (TROY) def. Conor Flynn & Hoan Mouret (UAB) 7-5

Noah Malige and Ondrej Valek were both able to pick up wins for the Blazers, but UAB was unable to earn the win in singles play after losing the doubles point.
