Men’s Tennis to Face Samford Friday, North Alabama Sunday

BIRMINGHAM – UAB men's tennis will make the short trip across town to Samford on Friday afternoon to face the Bulldogs before hosting North Alabama at the Hoover Met on Sunday. Both matches are set for 2 p.m. CT.
The Blazers earned a 4-3 win over South Alabama on Monday afternoon as Juan Pablo Valdez picked up the clinching point.
Noah Malige has been a standout for the Blazers early in the season playing on Court One. The senior from France has two wins over ranked opponents and holds a 4-1 record on the season, including a four-match winning streak.
The Blazers have won each of the last three meetings against the Bulldogs, including a 4-2 victory last season while the Blazers defeated the Lions by a score of 6-1.
