Women’s Tennis Falls at Louisville on Sunday

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – UAB women's tennis (9-5) fell at Louisville (7-4) by a score of 4-1 on Sunday afternoon.
The Cardinals were able to get the doubles point with wins on Courts 1 and 2 to get the early advantage over the Blazers.

1. Elisabeth Iila/Alice Otis (LOU) def. Vanessa Mellynchuk/Mackenzie White (UAB) 6-4
2. Germany Davis/Allie Gretkowski (LOU) def. Klara Kajabova/Enya Ratkic (UAB) 6-3
3. Berta Miret/Elena Noguero (LOU) vs. Kristyna Damaskova/Nera Tesankic (UAB) 5-4 unfinished
In singles play, Kristyna Damaskova was the only Blazer to earn a victory on Sunday. She was able to make quick work of her opponent on Court 2.
