Women’s Tennis Closes Out Regular Season at Kennesaw State

BIRMINGHAM – UAB women's tennis (14-7, 1-2 AAC) travels to Kennesaw State (6-7) to close out the regular season on Saturday, April 12. First serve is set for 12 p.m. CT.
The Blazers fell at No. 40 Charlotte 4-0 last Friday. The 49ers opened the match by taking the doubles point on Courts 2 and 3.
Charlotte was able to grab three singles points to clinch the match. The other three courts were all the third set but went unfinished after the 49ers had claimed the win. Vanessa Mellynchuk was up on her opponent in the third set on Court 1, along with Mackenzie White on Court 4.
