Women’s Golf Places 11th at Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB women's golf team placed 11th at the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic on Wednesday.
The Blazers' best performer, Chloe Ruble, shot one-under in the second round and tied second in the tournament for most birdies (nine). Ruble tied for 31st overall. UAB's second finisher was Ceci Lococo, who shot a two-over second round. Coming behind Lococo were Grace Sinclair and Brooke Wagner.

As a team, UAB shot +81 (326-302-317 = 945). Georgia Southern won the tournament.
UP NEXT: The Blazers will move onto the postseason by competing at the American Athletic Conference Championship, set for April 14-16 at the Southern Hills Plantation Club in Brooksville, Fla.
