UAB Welcomes UTSA to PNC Field on Thursday

BIRMINGHAM – UAB women's soccer (3-2-5, 0-0-2) hosts UTSA (6-2-2, 2-0-0) on Thursday, Sept. 25. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. CT and will air live on ESPN+.
UAB faculty and staff will receive a discounted ticket for the match for UAB faculty and staff appreciation night.
SERIES HISTORY
The Blazers lead the all-time series 4-2-3 with the last match taking place in San Antonio, Texas on Sept. 12, 2024. UAB earned a 2-1 victory.
LAST TIME OUT FOR THE BLAZERS
The Blazers battled then No. 9 Memphis to a 1-1 draw on the road last Thursday. Ava Mills scored first in the 50th minute off an assist from Lailah Stewart. Ultimately, the Tigers were able to tie the match in the 72nd minute.
SCOUTING THE ROADRUNNERS
UTSA defeated North Texas 1-0 last Thursday. Izzy Lane scored the lone goal for the Roadrunners which was her first goal of the year. Zoe May leads UTSA this season with three goals while Aaliyaiah Durden follows behind with two.
GOAL SCORERS
The Blazers have had 11 different goal scorers this season combining for 18 goals.
