UAB Sets Spring Football Practice Dates

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – UAB announced its 2026 spring football practice schedule on Friday, with the Blazers set to conduct 15 sessions, including two scrimmages and a spring showcase to conclude the spring practice period. The workouts will mark the first spring under head coach Alex Mortensen.
UAB will hold its first spring practice on March 18 at 10 a.m. at Legacy Pavilion. The Blazers will conclude spring practice with the annual Spring Showcase on April 18 at the Football Operations Center. Gates will open at 9:30 a.m., with the event scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon. Additional details regarding the Spring Showcase will be announced at a later date.
The full schedule is listed below. All spring practice sessions will begin at 10 a.m., unless otherwise noted. Dates and times are subject to change
