Alex Dupuy Tabbed as American Conference Honorable Mention

BIRMINGHAM – UAB junior infielder Alex Dupuy has been tabbed with weekly American Conference honors, the league office announced on Monday. Dupuy was named an Honorable Mention after his performances against Alabama State and Jacksonville.
Over four games, Dupuy went 7-for-17 with five runs scored, four RBI, three doubles, two stolen bases, and a walk. He also had at least two hits in each of the three games against Jacksonville. Additionally, he carries a 7-game hit streak into next week.
Dupuy and the Blazers take on South Alabama on Tuesday night at Riverwalk Stadium in Montgomery. First pitch is slated for 6:05 p.m. Middle Tennessee comes to Birmingham next weekend for a 3-game series from March 6-8.
