Blazers Ready for Midweek at Georgia Tech

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - UAB Softball looks to snap a four-game losing streak by heading to Atlanta for a 5 p.m. CT game against Georgia Tech on Tuesday. The Blazers (11-13, 0-3 AMER) were swept by North Texas to open American Conference play this past weekend. UAB struggled to piece together hits against the Mean Green, while also stumbling on defense with five unearned runs.
Georgia Tech (16-10, 4-2 ACC) is also coming off a series loss, losing two of three at Clemson. The Yellow Jackets lost their midweek game last week versus Troy, 6-2.

The Shockers won their conference opener last weekend against East Carolina, 14-5, before being shut out in back-to-back games by the Pirates, 8-0 and 3-0.
