Trio of Blazers Earn All-Academic Honors

Chychrun has maintained a 3.97 GPA and is set to graduate this spring with a degree in economics. A three-time All-Academic Team selection and seven-time Presidential Honors recipient, she has compiled a 24-9 record in 2026. She has also earned a place on the Commissioner's Honor Roll and received the Commissioner's Academic Medal in each of the past two years.
Chychrun holds the program record for most wins on Court 3 and ranks among the top five in wins on both Court 4 and Court 5. Following graduation, she will attend Mississippi State University to pursue a master's degree in accounting with a valuation track.
Haas, a nursing major, has maintained a 3.28 GPA and will graduate this spring. She was named to the Dean's List this semester and has earned a spot on the Commissioner's Honor Roll in back-to-back seasons.
On the court, Haas is the program's all-time leader in career wins, Court 1 wins, wins as a duo and single-season victories. She has recorded 93 career wins and 87 wins on Court 1 — both program records — and earned AVCA Top Flight Award honors in 2025 following a record-setting 26-win season. Haas was named Conference USA Co-Freshman of the Year in 2023 and is a two-time All-Conference first-team selection, in addition to earning second-team honors in 2024.
Following graduation, Haas plans to work as a registered nurse in the emergency department at Mercy Hospital Anderson in Cincinnati, Ohio, alongside her mother. She also plans to pursue opportunities as a travel nurse in the future.
Stant, a kinesiology major, has maintained a 3.93 GPA and is a six-time Presidential Honors recipient. A two-time All-Conference USA selection, she ranks second in program history with 80 career wins.
She holds program records for single-season wins and wins by a duo, while also ranking second in both career wins and Court 1 victories. Stant was named an AVCA Top Flight Award recipient in 2025 and earned Conference USA All-Academic honors that same year. She is also a two-time Commissioner's Honor Roll and Academic Medal recipient.
Stant was named the 2025 American Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Following graduation, she will attend Mississippi State, where she will use her final year of eligibility to compete in indoor volleyball. She also plans to apply to physical therapy school as she pursues a career in the field.
