Q: Does your number have a special meaning to you? If so, what is it? A: I wear the No. 5 because there are five siblings in my family. Everyone in my family, regardless of who it is, all wears some sort of five: I wear 5, my brother wears 15, and my dad wore 55. Fives have been a special number in our family so I just do it to represent my family.
Q: What is your go-to warm up or pregame song? A: My favorite pregame song would definitely be "Welcome to the Show" by Cody Johnson.
Q: Do you have any career goals after football is over? A: After football is over I want to pursue a coaching career in college football, preferably any of the colleges in the south. I just love the south, that's where I want to raise a family and I know my wife loves it, too, so that just helps the situation. Secondly, I want to compete for National Championships day in and day out.
Q: Who do you think brings the most energy to the team?Β A: The person that brings the most energy to the team would definitely be Marquise "Juice" Collins, if you know you know.
Q: What are your thoughts about Coach Mortensen serving in the Head Coach role this season? A: I think extremely high of Coach Mort being a transfer and coming from different schools. I have had the opportunity to work with a lot of different coaches and I can say without a doubt that his football intellect is by far the best I have been around. But that's just a bonus because the truth is, the greatest quality about Coach Mort is honesty, he will never fail to tell you exactly where you stand and where you need to get better as a player and I think that's the most important attribute the Head Coach can have.
