- Played three seasons at Montevallo under head coach Chandler Rose
- Appeared in 11 games as a reliever in 2016 where he went 2-2 over 17.0 innings of work
- As a sophomore he started seven games before redshirting for the remainder of the season
- Registered a 3-1 record tossing 22 strikeouts to eight walks during sophomore campaign
- Made 14 starts as a freshman, posting a team-best five wins over a team-high 68.1 innings, with 37 strikeouts
- Earned Gulf South All-Conference Honors, First-Team ABCA South All-Region Honors and was an Honorable Mention All-American

SOUTHSIDE HIGH SCHOOL
- Played at Southside High School
- Finished junior season with a 12-3 record to go along with a 2.04 ERA over 113 innings of work
- Pitched 10 complete games
- Helped team reach the 2012 Class 5A Stare Championship
