Kylee Bunton joined the Athletic Performance Staff in the summer of 2025 as an Assistant Athletic Performance Coach. She currently oversees performance for the Womenβs Soccer, Softball, and Womenβs Tennis teams.
Bunton came to UAB from Texas A&M University β Corpus Christi, where she served as Graduate Assistant of Sports Performance for two years after completing a year long internship with the program. She led strength and conditioning programs Womenβs Soccer, Womenβs Golf, and Menβs and Womenβs Cross Country at her previous university, assisting teams to a Menβs XC Southland Conference Championship in 2023, and a Womenβs Golf Southland Conference Championship in 2025. In addition, she assisted with all other university sports.
As Bunton was at Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi, she completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology in 2023, and Master of Science degree in Kinesiology with a focus in Strength and Conditioning in 2025.
Additionally, she became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA in 2023 and is Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified through the CSCCa beginning in 2024.
Bunton is originally from La Vernia, Texas, and moved to Birmingham with her dog, Dale.
