BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - LeAndrew Bass scord 16 points and David Walker grabbed sven rebounds to lead Alabama-Birmingham to a 65-59 win over Chattanooga Wednesday night.
UAB (4-2) also got 15 points out of P.J. Arnold and David Walker added 10 points as the Blazers outshot Chattanooga (2-5) 54 percent to 42 percent.
Tim Parker led Chattanooga with 16 points including 4-7 on 3-point shots, followed by Neil Ashby with 11. Clyde McCully had seven assists.
UAB led 42-30 at the half but Chattanooga outscored the Blazers 29-23 in the second half.
