"It was just a solid game. We played a really good game all the way around. We never felt like we lost control of it defensively. We took a lot of chances with our defense. We hit some big plays into some blitz coverages that really helped us. The kicking teams have just been really good recently. I thought Nick's (Hayes) field goal was a huge field goal at the time. It was just a good, solid game by our kids. I felt like that if we could stop the run that we would hang in there. I knew we had to throw to win the game."

"I give credit to our offensive line. They played great. I thought Thomas (Cox) played a real good game. I was proud of him. The offensive line did a great job of picking up the blitz. We had a great week of practice. We are just very proud of the win tonight against a good football team. We fought hard for the position that we are in. We won't look past Houston. I think we will be more confident now."
