Lady Jaguar Invitational Round One Results
MOBILE, Ala. -- The UAB women's golf team opened the season at the USA Lady Jaguar Invitational and is in 14th place after round one. Play was suspended with fours holes remaining in round two due inclement weather. Second-round play will resume at 8 a.m. on Tuesday.
Florida International leads the tournament with a score of 301 after the opening round. Troy is just a stroke off the leader at 302 and Stetson rounds out the top three with a score of 303.
Junior Carolyn Cochran is currently tied for 27th place to lead the Blazers at seven over par. She shot a 79 in the first round, six off the leaders at 73.
Junior Lindsay Taylor and freshman Ana Martin each carded an 82 and are tied for 52nd, while sophomore Kristin Lottman tallied an 89 for a 77th place tie. Junior Jaime Brabb rounded out the Blazers' scoring with a 93 in the opening round.
As a team, the Blazers shot a 332 in the first round to rank 14th among the 16 teams.
