Blazers Go Green For LSU Men's Basketball Game

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- UAB Athletics is planning a Go Green campaign for the Blazers' home men's basketball game against LSU on Thursday, Dec. 18. Fans are encouraged to wear green and support the Blazers as they take on one of the top teams in the Southeastern Conference.
Fans can visit the UAB Barnes and Noble bookstore, located on 6th Ave. South in Birmingham, to pick up a ticket for the game as well as a green t-shirt for just $15.
Members of the UAB athletic department will also be set up at the UAB Hospital North Pavilion atrium on Wednesday, Dec. 10 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. to sell the $15 package, which includes the green t-shirt and a LSU single-game ticket. UAB Athletics will also be at Highlands Hospital on Wednesday, Dec. 17 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
UAB and LSU tip off at 8 p.m. CT on Thursday, Dec. 18. The Blazers take on an LSU team that was picked fourth in the preseason SEC Media poll and features 2013-14 All-SEC team members Jordan Mickey and Jarell Martin.
