WAHIAWA, Hawaii. -- The UAB women's golf team sits in ninth place after Wednesday's second round of the Rainbow Wahine Invitational.
The Blazers turned in a 304 (+16) on the day and sit at 614 (+38) after 36-holes. BYU leads the 14-team field at 8-over, while Ole Miss shot a two-round 592 (+16) and sits in second place alongside New Mexico State.
Sydney Snodgrass continues to pace the Blazers, carding a 72 (E) in Wednesday's round. The sophomore is tied for fourth place out of 84 players at 144 (E), three strokes behind Rose Huang and Brooklyn Hocker of BYU.
Kayla Wilbourn improved six strokes in the second round, recording a 4-over par 76. Wilbourn is in a tie for 55th place with a 158 (+14), while Rebecca Chandler is tied for 50th. Chandler carded a 78 (+6) for a two-round 157 (+13).
Juliana Sebastian shot a 79 (+7) on the round and is tied for 65th place at 161 (+17). Imy Huxley improved five shots and shot a 76 (+4) and is also tied for 65th at 161 (+17).
Thursday's final round will begin with a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. (HST).
