Women's Golf Through Two Rounds at Memphis Intercollegiate

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The UAB women's golf team turned in team scores of 322 and 321 to sit in a tie for 13th following the first two rounds of the Memphis Intercollegiate Monday at the Ridgeway Country Club.
Rebecca Chandler turned in the Blazers' top team score on the day, shooting a 16-over, 158 over the two rounds. Chandler shot an 80 in her first round and improved by two strokes in round two with a 78 to sit in a tie for 41st.
Sydney Snodgrass turned in a 36-hole total 161, placing tied for 57th heading into Tuesday's final 18 holes. She fired a 7-over 79 to open her sophomore campaign, and came back with an 82 in round two.
Kayla Wilbourn, Juliana Sebastian and Imy Huxley all finished within three strokes of each other. Wilbourn fired 81s in both of her rounds to sit tied for 66th at 20-over, 162, while Sebastian turned in an 83 and 80 to sit tied for 69th at 21-over, 163. Huxley sits in a tie for 73rd at 23-over, 165, after shooting scores of 82 and 83.
Tournament host Memphis leads the field of 15 by 20 strokes after carding scores of 293 and 296. The Tigers' Madison Thomas leads the individual field by one stroke after scores of 72 and 73.
The Blazers will be paired with ULM and North Texas for Tuesday's final round, which begins at 8:30 a.m. Live scoring will be available via Birdie Fire by clicking here or in the link above.
