Men’s Golf Places 11th at Schenkel Invitational

STATESBORO, Ga. – The UAB men's golf team placed 11th overall at the Schenkel Invitational this weekend at Forest Hill Country Club.
The Blazers entered the final round in seventh place, but fell four places on the final day and finished the tournament at +26 (292-298-300).
Sophomore Nick Robillard was the team's top finisher as he tied for 28th overall at +3 and shot his low round of 72 on Sunday in the final round.
Murray Naysmith was second on the team, tying for 41st at +6, followed by William Walker III who tied for 56th (+10). John Snoddy and John Hayden rounded out the UAB lineup at +12 as both tied for 66th.
The Blazers now have a week off before the head to the Hayt hosted by the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Fla., March 31 through April 1.
