Men’s Tennis Welcomes Alabama State on Friday

BIRMINGHAM - The UAB men's tennis team hosts another in-state opponent when it welcomes Alabama State to the UAB Tennis Courts Friday at 1 p.m.
UAB (5-5, 1-0 C-USA) boasts the No. 47 doubles pairing in the nation in Roman Postolka and Michal Lusovsky. Postolka and Lusovsky enter Friday's match with a 4-0 record after recording a 6-1 win against Alabama A&M's Shakir Elvin and Hsiang Yi Wang on Saturday.
Lusovsky, Daniel Janko and Tom el Safadi lead the Blazers with four singles wins each after all three overcame their respective Alabama A&M foes.
Alabama State enters the match with a 3-7 record, having won against Point, North Alabama and Jackson State.
Following Friday's match, the Green and Gold returns to action Saturday as it hosts Tennessee Tech at the UAB Tennis Courts at 1 p.m.
