Men’s Tennis Drops Regular Season Finale to Troy

BIRMINGHAM - The UAB men's tennis team fell, 4-3, in its final regular season match of the season on Monday afternoon at the UAB Tennis Courts.
The Blazers (8-12, 1-4 C-USA) claimed the doubles point as Roman Postolka and Michal Lusovsky overcame Christopher Tasker and Jorge Poyatos, 6-2, on court one before a court three victory by Jasper Van Kleef and Nikolai Manchev over Andy Romero and Oskar Michalek, 6-4 sealed the point.
The Blazers notched two singles wins as Lusovsky defeated Michael, 6-4, 6-2, on court two and Tom el Safadi topped Tasker, 6-3, 7-5 in the No. 5 position.
The Blazers return to the courts on Friday at 10 a.m. as they open play in the 2019 Air Force Reserve Conference USA Championships, taking on top-seeded Florida Atlantic.
