UAB Women's Golf Travels to Tennessee for Chattanooga Classic

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB women's golf team will play in its fifth tournament of the spring schedule as the Green and Gold head to Tennessee to participate in the two-day Chattanooga Classic this Monday and Tuesday, March 29-30.
The tournament will be hosted at the Black Creek Club. The par 72 course will play 6,159 yards.
The field for the tournament includes 13 teams in addition to UAB: Chattanooga, Austin Peay, Colorado State, ETSU, Georgia Southern, Iowa, James Madison, Marshall, Middle Tennessee, Murray State, Samford, Toledo and WKU.
Head Coach Ryan Ashburn will field a team consisting of Emilia Smith, Stephenie Fowler, Lexie Dawson, Tia Teiniketo and Shelly Chen. Caroline Waldrop will participate as an individual.
