TAMPA, Fla. – UAB women's soccer (5-4-2, 2-2-1 AAC) fell at South Florida (7-2-3, 2-1-2 AAC) by a score of 4-0.

The Bulls took the lead in the 9^th minute after Anna Sutter scored a goal with an assist from Peyton Felton and Serita Thurton. South Florida scored two more times before the half with goals from Gentiana Fetaj in the 14^thminute and Micahela Hill in the 28^th minute.

Leading 3-0 at the break, the Bulls scored again early in the half. Hill found the back of the net for the second time of the match in the 53^rd minute to make it a 4-0 contest.

In the 55^th minute, Maiya Clark had a chance to put UAB on the board but was saved by South Florida's goalkeeper Leire Herraez Gallach. Clark also had another opportunity in the 69^th minute but once again was saved by the Bulls keeper.

Blazer, Anika Toth, had six saves on the night.

Up next, UAB returns home to host Charlotte on Thursday, Oct. 10. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. CT and will air live on ESPN+.
