Women's Tennis Faces Temple at AAC tournament

Dallas - The UAB women's tennis team will fly to Dallas, Texas, to play in the American Athletic Conference tournament. The Blazers will face off against Temple in the first round at 2 p.m. The match will have live video coverage, which can be accessed here.
With a season of hard work and dedication behind them, the Blazers are primed to showcase their prowess and make a statement. We interviewed assistant coach Paula Biggs-Baird to hear her thoughts about expectations for the upcoming tournament and the team's progress.
"We expect the girls to fight for every single point and stay positive in how they talk to their inner selves," said coach Paula. "There have been more and more times where the entire team has competed well on game day; that consistency has been the most notable progress."
The Blazers finished off the year with another winning season with a record of 12-10.
