BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The UAB men's soccer team (2-6-1) will host Jacksonville (2-5-2) for the final non-conference game of the year on Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m.
UAB are now just 1-3 in conference play after losing 1-0 at Tulsa last week. UAB has won one out of its last five losing by one goal in their four losses against Tulsa, Memphis, Georgia State, and South Florida.
Last week, Jacksonville played Stetson to a 0-0 draw on Saturday night. The Dolphins have not won in their last five attempts, drawing two games to Stetson and Memphis.
American Weekly Honors
Sept. 29
Mabon recorded five saves in a 4-0 shutout win over Missouri State. He also recorded an assist on a long punt to Tony Kim.
Doh was named as an honorable mention for the week with a top bins goal against Missouri State. He hit a half volley from 35-yards that hit the cross bar and went down into the goal. Danslet scored a goal in UAB's 4-0 win over Missouri State and helped earn the shutout.
Sept. 9
Ole Jessen received the Defensive Player of the Week Honors playing in all 180 minutes on the week, scoring two goals from his outside back position. Humphrey Doh grabbed American Conference honorable mention for his three assists against USC Upstate.
Scouting the Dolphins
Jacksonville has not won a game since August 31 against utrgv. They have two wins on the season but have only scored four goals in a combined eight matches outside of their 9-1 win against Trinity Baptist. The Dolphins are led by three goals from senior Nicolas Aanensen Karlsen. Christian Lindtner Wahlstroem leads the team with three assists.

Jacksonville leads the series 3-2, but UAB won the last matchup in 2017 1-0.
