BIRMINGHAM – UAB women's basketball (10-18, 3-13 American) fell 86-57 to Temple (13-15, 7-9 American) on Saturday afternoon at Bartow Arena. Cali Smallwood and Journey Armstead led the Blazers with 13 points each.
The Owls were led by Kaylah Turner with 26 points while Saniyah Craig registered 16 points. Jaleesa Molina came away with 11 points.

- Off the bench, Ashlyn Howard registered a season-high six rebounds and matched her season-best eight points.
- Mari Miller, who also came off the bench, tallied three rebounds for a season high.
- Jordan Rosier saw her first start of the season and recorded seven points and matched her season-best three field goals.
- Monae' Duffy led the Blazers with 14 rebounds and has recorded 10-plus rebounds 11 times this season.
