UAB also signed four JUCO standouts in Terryauna Griffin from Walters State Community College, Serena Heeren from Chipola College, Ashley Garner from College of Southern Idaho and Hailey Jackson from Hutchinson Community College.
Peyton Bradley | 5-9 | Guard | Brandenburg, Ky. | Meade County HS | Louisville
Bradley arrives in Birmingham after spending her freshman season at Louisville, where she appeared in nine games. The Brandenburg, Kentucky native averaged 3.8 points and 1.1 rebounds per game while shooting 35.3 percent from the field and 30.8 percent from 3-point range. She scored eight points in three consecutive games and finished the year with 34 total points. Randy on Peyton Bradley: "Peyton Bradley is a high-level combo guard with tremendous upside. She brings toughness, skill, and a competitive edge that fits exactly who we are as a program. What really separates Peyton is her character, her faith, her work ethic, and her commitment to getting better every single day. She's hungry, she's coachable, and she's driven to reach her full potential. We're excited to have her at UAB and can't wait to help her grow and make an impact in our program."
Viktoria Ranisavljevic | 5-7 | Guard | Massagno, Switzerland | Penn State
Ranisavljevic comes to UAB after beginning her collegiate career at Penn State, where she played in 26 games with nine starts. The 5-7 guard averaged 4.6 points and 1.5 rebounds per game while dishing out 42 assists (1.6 per game). She shot 37.8 percent from the floor, 34.6 percent from beyond the arc and 73.7 percent from the free throw line. Her season high was 10 points in a victory over Cincinnati.
Randy on Viktoria Ranisavljevic: "Viktoria brings a unique combination of international experience, skill, and competitiveness to our program. She's competed against some of the best players in the world at a young age, and that experience has shaped her into a confident playmaker who can score and create for others. What excites me is her upside as she's just scratching the surface of what she can become. In our system, with the freedom and pace we play with, I believe she's going to thrive. She fits our identity as she is tough, skilled, and fearless and we're excited to have her at UAB."
Emilia Dannebauer | 6-4 | Forward | Berlin, Germany | Sportgymnasium Chemnitz HS | UTSA
Dannebauer joins the Blazers after two seasons at UTSA. She played in eight games as a freshman before appearing in 33 games with 10 starts during her sophomore season. In 2025-26, the 6-4 forward averaged 2.5 points and 1.8 rebounds per game while adding 18 steals, 16 assists and seven blocks. She shot 35.4 percent from the field and 71.4 percent at the line. Dannebauer helped UTSA upset No. 1 seed Rice to win the 2025-26 American Conference Championship and advance to the program's third NCAA Tournament appearance.
Randy on Emilia Dannebauer: "Emilia is a skilled, tough, and versatile post player who has competed at a very high level in Germany and on the junior national team stage. She has continued that success here in the U.S. as part of a championship program at UTSA this past season, gaining valuable experience in a winning environment. She brings size, experience, rim protection, and a real feel for the game. What really stands out is her ability to impact the game on both ends with her scoring, rebounding, and defensive presence. We are excited about what Emilia will bring to our program and believe her best basketball is still ahead of her."
Terryauna Griffin | 5-7 | Guard | Knoxville, Tenn. | South-Doyle HS | Walters State Community College
Griffin heads to UAB after a standout two-year career at Walters State. She averaged 19.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.8 steals and 1.7 assists per game during her time there. As a freshman, Griffin posted 16.9 points per game while shooting 44.2 percent from the field, 33.3 percent from three and 69.7 percent at the line. She followed that with 21.2 points per game as a sophomore while shooting 42.8 percent from the floor, 29.8 percent from long range and 72.5 percent at the stripe.
Her long list of honors includes NJCAA Division I First Team and Third Team All-American recognition, TCCAA Player of the Year, Offensive Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year, Co-Offensive Player of the Year, All-TCCAA First Team and four TCCAA Player of the Week selections. Griffin finished with 1,182 career points, setting the Walters State all-time scoring record. Her teams went 53-9 overall and 39-1 in TCCAA play, winning two TCCAA regular-season conference championships, two TCCAA/Region 7 tournament titles and making two NJCAA national tournament appearances.
Randy on Terryauna Griffin: "Terryauna is one of the most dynamic players in junior college basketball. When you look at her résumé, Player of the Year, Offensive Player of the Year, and the all-time leading scorer at Walters State, that speaks for itself. She's an elite scorer, but what really stands out is her competitiveness and her ability to take over games. She's proven she can produce, lead, and win at a high level. We're bringing in a player who knows how to carry a team and perform in big moments, and we're excited about the impact she's going to make at UAB."
Serena Heeren | 6-0 | Forward | Lincoln, Neb. | Lincoln Northeast | Chipola College
Heeren spent two seasons at Chipola College and was one of the team's top scorers and rebounders this past season. She averaged 12.8 points, 8.8 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game while starting 29 of 31 contests and shooting 48.0 percent from the field. As a freshman, she averaged 6.6 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.2 blocks while shooting 51.1 percent from the floor. She finished her Chipola career with 609 points, 459 rebounds and 98 blocks. Heeren helped lead Chipola to the FCSAA Division I Championship final, the second round of the NJCAA Championship and earned All-Panhandle Conference First Team honors.
Randy on Serena Heeren: "Serena is one of the most productive and consistent frontcourt players in junior college basketball. Earning First Team All-Conference in one of the toughest leagues in the country speaks to the level she plays at every night. She's elite on the glass, plays with great toughness, and does all the things that lead to winning. What separates her is her motor and her willingness to do the hard work every possession. Serena is exactly the type of player we want in our program - tough, reliable, and committed to winning."
Ashley Garner | 6-2 | Forward | Heber City, Utah | Wasatch HS | College of Southern Idaho
Garner comes to Birmingham after two seasons at the College of Southern Idaho, where she saw action in 34 games while making 31 starts her sophomore year and had 13 starts out of 31 games to begin her collegiate career. As a sophomore, she posted 11.0 points and 10.5 rebounds per game while shooting 53.5 percent from the field and helping the Golden Eagles reach the Elite Eight, win the Scenic West Athletic Conference title and capture the Region 18 Championship. As a freshman, Garner averaged 5.7 points and 6.4 rebounds per game.
In 2026, Garner earned NJCAA Third Team All-American honors. She also set the CSI single-season record with 152 offensive rebounds, was twice named SWAC Player of the Week and earned NJCAA National Player of the Week honors. Garner was a Region 18 First Team selection, Region 18 All-Tournament Team honoree and was selected to the NJCAA Nationals All-Tournament Team after averaging a double-double at the national tournament.
Randy on Ashley Garner: "Ashley Garner is exactly what we're about at UAB. She's a relentless competitor who brings toughness, physicality, and a winning mindset every single day. When you average a double-double and set records on the offensive glass, that tells you everything about her motor and effort. But what really stood out to us is who she is as a person, her faith, her humility, and her commitment to growth. Ashley is going to make an immediate impact on our program, and we're excited to welcome her and her family to Blazer Nation."
Hailey Jackson | 5-11 | Forward | Tulsa, Okla. | Charles Page HS | Hutchinson CC
Jackson is a JUCO forward that has shown athleticism and skill at Hutchinson Community College. In her sophomore season, she averaged 18.3 points, 8.6 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game while starting and playing in 34 games. Jackson collected several honors including NJCAA First Team All-American, Jayhawk Conference Dl Player of the Year, First Team All-KJCCC, All-Region 6 honors, KJCCC Player of the Week five times and NJCAA National Player of the Week twice.
As a freshman with the Blue Dragons, Jackson tallied 12.9 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game. She appeared and started in 37 games. She helped her team win the 2024 NJCAA National Championship with an 88-80 victory over Northwest Florida State. With her help, Hutchinson Community College went 37-0 overall and 24-0 in conference play. For her career she has averaged 15.5 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game.
Randy on Hailey Jackson: "Hailey Jackson is a winner in every sense of the word. You don't become a First-Team All-American, Conference Player of the Year, and lead your team to championships without an elite work ethic, toughness, and a competitive edge that separates you. What stands out most is her consistency and ability to impact winning every single night. She can score at all three levels, she rebounds, she gets to the free-throw line, and she shows up in the biggest moments and that's what high-level players do. We're not just getting a talented player, we're getting a proven competitor, a champion, and someone who understands what it takes to win. Hailey is exactly the type of player we want in our program, and we're excited to have her represent UAB Women's Basketball."
The seven transfers join returners Eleecia Carter, Ashlyn Howard, Mari Miller and incoming freshmen Nya Burns and Bella Harmon.
