SARASOTA, Fla. - The UAB men's golf team sits at 9-under par through two rounds of the American Athletic Conference Championship and is in position heading into Wednesday's final round. UAB enters the final day in fifth place at 567 (-9), within striking distance of the top of the leaderboard after posting rounds of 282 and 285 over the first two days.

FULL LEADERBOARD

Individually, the Blazers have been paced by Alvaro Huidobro, who is tied for eighth at 138 (-6) after back-to-back rounds of 68 and 70. Erik Olin is also in the mix, sitting tied for 13th at 140 (-4), while Morgan Slaton is tied for 19th at even par through 36 holes.

Alejandro Fierro has been steady at 146 (+2), and Patrick Delaney rounds out the lineup at 148 (+4) heading into the final round.

As a team, the Blazers have continued their strong spring form, positioning themselves for a push up the leaderboard with one round to play.

UAB will begin final round play on Hole 1 in the morning wave:

8:30 a.m. – Morgan Slaton
8:41 a.m. – Alejandro Fierro
8:52 a.m. – Patrick Delaney
9:03 a.m. – Erik Olin

The final round will determine both the team champion and individual medalist as the Blazers look to close out the tournament strong. Wednesday's final round will be streamed live on ESPN+.
