MEMPHIS, Tenn.... UAB (5-21, 0-14 in Conference USA) fell to Memphis (11-18, 2-12 in C-USA) 15-10, 15-7, 15-6 in Conference USA volleyball action at Elma Roane Fieldhouse.
Senior right side hitter Kristen Pettey had eight kills and sophomore setter/outside hitter Dina Katsoulis posted 14 assists, three kills, seven digs and a block solo to lead the Blazers.
Junior outside hitter Adrianne Edmonds led Memphis with 12 kills and eight digs, while junior setter Amie Hamilton added 35 assists, three service aces and 13 digs for the Tigers.
UAB next travels to Jacksonville, Ala. to face Jacksonville State Tuesday at 7 p.m.
