Blazers To Compete At Auburn Invitational Saturday

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The UAB women's track and field team will travel to Auburn, Ala. to compete in the Auburn Invitational on Saturday at Hutsell-Rosen Track. The Blazers are one of 17 teams scheduled to compete in the women's events.
Other schools competing on the women's side will be Auburn, Beville State, Birmingham-Southern, Central Michigan, Charlotte, Columbia, Columbus State, Florida Atlantic, Gardner-Webb, Georgia Southern, Jacksonville State, Mississippi State, Navy, South Alabama, Troy State and Wallace State.
The Blazers' first event of the meet will be the long jump at 11 a.m. The running events will kick off at 12:30 p.m. with the preliminaries of the 100-meter hurdles.
