Potter Awarded Grant By USATF

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ---- Reava Potter, an assistant coach on the UAB track and field coaching staff, has been awarded a grant by the USATF.
The grant will allow Potter to attend the 25th NACACTFCA International Athletics Congress Oct. 8-11 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She is one of three coaches nationally to receive one of the grants to attend the event.
Potter is in her second season at UAB after spending three seasons at Bethune-Cookman. She coaches the jumps and multi-event students for the Blazers under the direction under head coach Kurt Thomas.
