Blazers Finish Day Two of Florida Relays

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The UAB track and field team competed in two events on day two of the Florida Relays from Percy Beard Track inside James G. Pressly Stadium.
The Blazer 4x400 meter relay team of Fanta Diabate, Darielle Oliver, Hannah Hensley and Elisea Jones turned in a time of 3:57.04 in the preliminaries.
Distance runner Sarah Livett ran the 5,000 meters Thursday night and posted a time of 18:04.93.
UAB returns to action Saturday at 10 a.m. CT when the meet resumes with the men’s discus throw.
