Blazers Travel to Jacksonville for North Florida Collegiate

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The UAB women's golf team returns to the course this week when it travels to Jacksonville, Fla., to compete in the North Florida Collegiate set for Monday and Tuesday at the Jacksonville Golf and Country Club.
The Blazers are coming off of a tied for 11th finish at the Amelia Island Collegiate Feb. 19-20. Maria Donado paced the Blazers picking up her fourth top-20 finish of the season.
Donado leads the Blazers holding a 74.4 stroke average. The junior has tallied three rounds at or under par to go along with two top-five finishes.
The North Florida Collegiate begins on Monday with an 8:30 shotgun start. Teams will play 36 consecutive holes on day one followed by the closing 18 on Tuesday.
Joining the Blazers in Jacksonville this week will be Central Michigan, Charleston Southern, Chattanooga, Cincinnati, Daytona State, Delaware, Eastern Kentucky, Murray State, North Florida, Old Dominion, Samford, Stetson, South Alabama, Toledo, WKU and Xavier.
