BIRMINGHAM - UAB men's basketball (15-7, 6-5 C-USA) faces No. 19 Florida Atlantic (21-1, 11-0 C-USA) on Thursday night at Bartow Arena. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. CT.

SERIES HISTORY
UAB leads the all-time series 12-4, but the Owls got the best of the Blazers in the first meeting this season in Boca Raton. Johnell Davis led FAU with a career-high 36 points in the Owls' 88-86 win, giving the Blazers their first conference loss of the season.

The Blazers defeated Rice in dominant fashion on the road, 70-52. UAB held the Owls scoreless for over seven minutes to open the game. KJ Buffen and Ledarrius Brewer each put up 20 points to pace UAB. The 52 points are the fewest that the Blazers have allowed in a game this season.

He finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds in the Blazers' win over Rice for his second-career 20-point double-double.
TALL T's DOMINANCE
Trey Jemison has been a force for the Blazers of late, averaging 13.1 points and 10.7 rebounds per game over the last seven contests. He matched his previous career high of 17 points at FIU and then set his current career best of 18 points against Middle Tennessee. He has recorded double-doubles in five of the last seven games.
