Men's Soccer Opens AAC Play at Home Against FAU

BIRMINGHAM – UAB men's soccer opens AAC play on Saturday at home against Florida Atlantic. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. CT.
UAB students will receive Blazer Soccer scarves upon entry to PNC Field.

SERIES HISTORY
The Owls lead the all-time series 7-6 and they have won each of the last five meetings. The Blazers' last win in the series came during the 2018 season.
LAST TIME OUT FOR THE BLAZERS
Gui Gragnano scored a game-tying goal for the Blazers with one minute remaining to secure the 2-2 draw at Georgia Southern. Lucas Rizzo scored his first collegiate goal early in the match while Gustavo Barbosa provided both assists.
SCOUTING THE OWLS
Florida Atlantic holds a 2-2-1 record on the season, and they have scored seven goals over their five matches. Mamadou Diarra leads the Owls with three goals and three assists on the season. He has scored the game winning goal in each of their victories this season.
