SERIES HISTORY
Memphis leads the all-time series 23-20-1 and the Tigers have won each of the last five meetings. The Blazers' last win in the series came during the 2017 season.
LAST TIME OUT FOR THE BLAZERS
UAB picked up a massive 2-1 win over Louisville on Tuesday night on the road. Lucas Rizzo was the hero for the Blazers, scoring both goals. Rizzo put UAB ahead early in the first half, but the Cardinals were able to respond shortly thereafter to level the score. Ole Jessen then found Mathias Love Groth on the wing a few minutes later and played the ball into Rizzo for his second goal of the night to seal the match. The win over Louisville was UAB's first win over an ACC opponent since 2011.
SCOUTING THE TIGERS
Lleyton Imparato and Logan Longo lead the Tigers with a combined seven goals and six assists this season. Each of the two players scored in UM's win over Tulsa. The Tigers have scored six goals over their last three matches.
UNBEATEN OVER LAST SEVEN MATCHES
UAB is unbeaten over its last seven matches (4-0-3) for the first time since the 2011 season. The Blazers have already surpassed their highest win total in a season since 2018.
LILLY'S TURNAROUND
David Lilly took over the reins for UAB after the Blazers did not win a match during the 2023 season. So far this year, Lilly has helped UAB reach its highest win total since 2018, reach as high as 30 in the RPI, win its first conference match since 2021 and pick up a win over an ACC opponent for the first time since 2011.
