BIRMINGHAM – UAB women's basketball (10-14, 3-9 American) defeated Memphis (8-15, 2-8 American) 58-56 on Tuesday night at Bartow Arena.
Three Blazers scored in double figures with Cali Smallwood leading UAB with 22 points. Molly Moffitt registered 12 points while Monae' Duffy tallied 10 points. Duffy led UAB with 13 rebounds on top of her 10 points for a double-double.
The Tigers were led by Tamya Smith who had 15 points. Amauri Williams came away with 11 points and Chaé Harris followed with 10 points.
