BIRMINGHAM- The homecoming weekend festivities continue as UAB men's soccer takes on Gardner-Webb on Saturday night at 7 p.m. at BBVA Field.
UAB (2-9-1) are coming off a tough double overtime loss to Appalachian State on Wednesday. The Blazers look to pick up their third home win of the year and build momentum heading into the final stretch of the season. UAB will host three more home contests with only five more matches left in the regular season.
Gardner-Webb (6-6-1) has been shut out in consecutive games for the first time this season dropping its last two contests after being outscored 5-0. The Runnin' Bulldogs look to get back to their winning ways relying on junior forward Oskar Wang who leads the team in points with six goals and two assists on the year.
There will be a free shuttle to BBVA Field following the conclusion of the UAB football game on Saturday afternoon. Fans who ride the shuttle from the Hill Center to Legion Field for the football game are encouraged to ride the soccer shuttle to BBVA Field after the game.
Fans who present a football ticket from the ODU game at the gate will receive free admission to the game.
The first 100 fans will receive a free food voucher from the marketing table. The voucher can be redeemed at the concession stand for a hotdog and popcorn or nachos.
