HUNTINGTON, W. Va.- The Blazers were blanked for the second straight game in Saturday night's 6-0 loss to Marshall.

Marshall (8-1-1, 3-0-0) started the scoring early in the match and continued it throughout the night.

The first Marshall goal of the night came in the 10th minute of action when Milo Yosef netted his sixth goal of the season. The Thundering Herd would score two more times in the half with goals in the 25th and 29th minute to increase the lead to 3-0 at halftime.

The first goal of the second half came in the 60th minute off a free kick from Jamil Roberts 22 yards out. Seven minutes later Roberts would score again to bring the Herd lead to 5-0.

The sixth and final goal of the match would come off a corner kick from 25 yards out.

UAB (1-7-1, 0-3-1) were outpaced by Marshall 18-2 on the night. The Blazers remain winless in conference play after being shut out in back-to-back games and dropping their third straight C-USA matchup.

The Green & Gold will travel to Memphis on Tuesday to take on the Tigers at 7 p.m.
