UAB Face Georgia Southern in Midweek Showdown at BBVA Field

BIRMINGHAM- The UAB men's soccer team will take on Georgia Southern in a midweek matchup tomorrow night at BBVA Field at 7 p.m.
UAB (1-4-1), have a short turnaround from Saturday night's loss against No. 10 Charlotte to get back on the winning track. The Blazers look to get off to a quick start as they have gone into halftime down a score in four of their six games this season.
Georgia Southern (3-3-0), come to Birmingham on a two-game losing streak. The Eagles are led by midfielder Alhaji Tambadu and forward Adam Davie who have combined for seven of the team's 10 goals this season.
The Blazers lead the all-time series 3-0-2, having never lost to the Eagles in their previous five matchups. The teams met last season in a game that ended in a 1-1 draw after Blake White scored the second half equalizer for UAB.
UAB is on the second match of a three game homestand wrapping up next Saturday with No. 22 FIU at 7 p.m.
