BIRMINGHAM - UAB men's basketball (18-8, 9-6 C-USA) will hit the road to face UTEP (12-13, 5-9 C-USA) on Thursday in El Paso. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. CT.

UAB leads the all-time series 17-9 and the Blazers took the first meeting of the season in Birmingham in double overtime. UTEP leads the series in El Paso, 7-4, but Andy Kennedy holds a 6-0 record against the Miners in his coaching career.
